Jessica Taylor

Clinical Psychologist

I have trained as a Clinical Psychologist with University of New England, and I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

I chose a career in psychology because I have a passion for helping people build self-belief and develop strategies so that they become empowered and capable of creating positive changes in their lives.

My therapeutic approach is warm and respectful as I strive to create a space where clients feel safe. Through my work, I endeavour to utilise clients' strengths when working with their current difficulties. I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Schema Therapy to ensure a high quality of client care. I recognise the uniqueness of every client and always individualise treatment in order to optimise client outcomes.

I enjoy working with children and their families, teenagers and adult in the following areas-

  • Mood and anxiety problems
  • Behaviour problems
  • Emotion regulation strategies
  • Interpersonal difficulties
  • Parenting concerns
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Self-harm
