The Comforts of Therapy

Feeling comfortable in therapy is really important. And it doesn’t just relate to how you feel in front of your therapist, it also relates to the space a practice occupies. Coming along to psychological therapy can be daunting enough and at Life & Mind Psychology we recognise the importance of being able to relax and feel at home while you visit.

Earlier this year, when the practice started to outgrow its space, we thought it was a great opportunity to search for a new office that offers much more comfort and privacy to our clients.

The practice we found provides the perfect balance between convenience, accessibility and comfort. We are easily found in the heart of Miranda, the Sutherland Shire’s medical precinct. Originally a residential unit, you will feel at ease when you visit as you are actually stepping into a home environment. Each room has been carefully furnished with lounges, coffee tables, calming artwork, flowers, and other creature comforts.

In recognising the value of privacy when coming along to psychological therapy, we have chosen a practice that is located off the main street and there are no shared facilities.

Check out our photos below to see for yourself what a difference furnishings can make to a psychological practice.

We hope you find it as pleasant as our current clients do and we look forward to seeing you soon!
