Allyson is a warm, down-to-earth couples therapist and counsellor with a deep passion for helping couples feel more connected, understood, and supported in their relationships.
She understands that even the strongest relationships can face periods of disconnection, conflict, or uncertainty. Whether a couple is in crisis or simply looking to deepen their connection, Allyson provides a compassionate, structured space to help partners find their way back to each other.
Allyson works with couples at all stages, offering practical, collaborative sessions grounded in what matters most to each relationship. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as the Gottman Method and the Developmental Model, she supports couples to:
– Break out of stuck or reactive patterns
– Navigate difficult conversations with empathy
– Rebuild trust, intimacy, and emotional safety
She also has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent couples, including those navigating ADHD, autism, or other cognitive differences. Allyson offers a neurodiversity-affirming approach that helps partners better understand and honour each other’s unique ways of thinking, feeling, and relating—without judgement or pathologising.
Clients often describe Allyson as calm, thoughtful, and grounding. She creates a space where both partners feel safe to show up authentically, reflect deeply, and grow together.
Allyson brings rich experience from both private practice and community settings in Sydney and Singapore. She speaks Spanish and is a proud mum to two teenage boys.
