An AHPRA-registered psychologist since 2008 with experience working across different settings including mental health, community health, psychological medicine and private practice. I completed my undergraduate training with the University of Wollongong and am currently working and studying for my Master of Clinical Psychology at Charles Sturt University.
I consider myself a warm and caring clinician with the aim to create a welcoming and confidential therapeutic environment, particularly for individuals who are new to therapy. I’m passionate about empowering individuals to take charge in their lives to create meaningful change by adopting a person-centred approach.
Utilising a range of evidenced-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing/Transtheoretical Model and Mindfulness, in order to tailor treatment to your individual needs.
Experience working with adults, young adults and older adults across a range of mental health, behavioural, lifestyle and health-related difficulties including;
– Anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety/worry, social anxiety and panic disorder
– Mood disorders including depression and bipolar
– Emotional difficulties such as stress management, low self-esteem, life transition/adjustment issues
– Communication and interpersonal difficulties
– Academic and vocational stress or change such as burnout, academic performance, job satisfaction
– Health psychology, including adjustment to medical illness/health-related difficulties
